On this 2-day tour from Istanbul, explore both sides with ease on a guided tours. See the travertine terraces of UNESCO-listed Pamukkale and explore the ancient city of Ephesus, as well as visiting the ruins of Hierapolis and the House of the Virgin Mary.
Pick up from your hotel in Istanbul and transfer to Istanbul airport. Fly to Izmir. After you arrive to airport our representative will meet you and take you to where we start the tour in Ephesus, Izmir Selcuk. Tour will start by visiting the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Following this, we will make our way to Ephesus which was one of the most important cultural centers of the ancient word. As we walk through this ancient site you will notice the streets paved with marble which gives a hint to this city`s great wealth many years ago. We will stop for lunch than our last stop is House of the Virgin Mary where it is believed that she arrived with Saint John 4-6 years after the death of Christ and spent her final days. We will pick you up from your hotel around 07:30am. 08:00 am. and join your group for full day tour of Pamukkale meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a famous for the healing properties of its thermal mineral baths and beautiful cascading snow-white terraced cliff side basins and waterfalls. After lunch, we will also visit the ancient Roman city ruins of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the magnificently preserved Necropolis, Avenue of Tombs, Gates, Thermal Baths, Devil’s Hole and the Masterpiece Theater. End of the tour transfer to airport. Fly to Istanbul and after arrive transfer to your hotel or location in Istanbul. End of Service.
